TL:DR for the Tumblr guidelines – 

Adult content will still be allowed on Tumblr provided it meets their guidelines.

Guidelines are that IMAGES/GIF/VIDEOS containing FEMALE-presenting nipples/human genitalia that is not for artistic/political/educational purposes .i.e. The Statue Of David is okay, Ron Jeremy banging two blondes with a feather duster is not.

If you currently have anything not adhering to their guidelines on your blog, they will change the post so only you can view it and this cannot be changed back. They’ll notify you by email if anything of yours gets flagged. BOY AM I LOOKING FORWARD TO 3,000 NOTIFICATIONS.

If your blog is currently NSFW, it will stay that way. You can still write and post erotica (the porn of sophisticates) but things like porn gif blurbs are a no-no.

If your posts are flagged and they are not breaking the rules, you can appeal it.
