Ugh! I ‘ve been looking through my archives, and dammit, there’s so much beautiful fan art, and so many sassy, fun conversations. I am so verflempt that Verizon is going to toss this community in the dumpster.

They say that I can go get my pr0n anywhere, but I certainly cannot get smut written by smart women and gender fluid folks, and gay men that see the characters that they paint, and draw, and write about as real people with feeeelings (though Thank The Gods For Ao3). And I certainly cannot get the open conversations with smart, sassy people about healthy, fun sex–absolutely something that I had never gotten anywhere else, not even from my closest friends (certainly not from the educational system). 

I don’t see how there is anywhere out there where I can possibly get what I was able to get here over the past four years. In the back of my head, i knew we were in trouble as soon as Yahoo bought the place. It really was only a matter of time before advertizing dollars trumped (haha–there’s an ironic pun) the spirit of this place. 

I’m not planning to delete anything here, in the hopes that my blog doesn’t get deleted (there’s not a ton of nekkid pictures, just a few). But when Pillowfort comes back online, I will probably spend more time over there trying to figure things out.
