Tom Hiddleston, books, Marvel, cute animals, food, Pokémon, Sailor Moon, history, current events(politics, what's going on in the world, that kind of stuff), among other things…
So, if you can’t view your blog if you’re not logged in, give this a shot, but do be aware that the tumblr-native export tool doesn’t work on really large blogs. I don’t know the post limit, but I do know several people who have been stuck at ‘waiting’ for 5-6 months, with no completion date in sight. If you haven’t been flagged ‘adult’ or ‘explicit’ try something else first.
Yup. I got 50 thousand posts. I stopped trying after 18 hours of dl time.
Go save manually what you love and be ready for them to delete you if you can’t amend your blog to their “cleanliness” standards.
Looking through my posts I feel like I criminal because I ever dared to make gifs of shirtless Tom Hiddleston and Tom kissing people. How could I be so depraved?
Hi! We’re @staff, and since we got actual financial repercussions for not taking care of our unconscionable CP problems we finally stopped dragging our feet and did it!
But oh, we’re not going to just stop at taking care of that, we’re going to go waaay farther than any other website with a functioning CP filter and do something nobody asked nor expected us to do! Because a naked human body is the same thing as child sexual abuse, right? And all depicted sex is criminal, not just that form of violence and abuse against children that we should have taken care of ages ago, right?
See? See? We learn! And it’s not like anyone makes their living from drawing regular ol’ human anatomy and normal human interactions and uses tumblr as their major means of reaching clients!
Yes, this will surely cover up redeem our failures on the whole CP thing we didn’t do that everyone is talking about and we really wish they would stop talking about…
I tried to find a gif for this with someone pointing there finger up to agree with this post entirely but there weren’t any. Hmmmm.
It’s really easy to maintain your blog, your audience, and your network of friends.
Don’t post porn gifs. Just don’t. If you must post something, label it appropriately and post a link to it.
Don’t post fics here. Post them on AO3, or wherever you like, and post the link here.
Tumblr is doing what is necessary in order to keep running.
What they’re looking for is ‘real person’ pornography. Don’t fear, your written porn is fine!
But sadly the art isn’t. If you take a look around a lot of drawings have already been flagged and obscured. They’re probably not going to check texts, but still…
Not to post is easy, but this thing means we’ll no longer see all the artists we love, we’ll have to think at least twice about a lot of fandom related stuff… I’m not going to delete the blog, but if I find somewhere better….
Yeah, writers are safe but we’re only a portion of the fandom. Artists are every bit as important and they’re being censored and forced to lose YEARS worth of their work. Sure they can post elsewhere but they’ve been HERE building their audiences for years, and now they’ve gotta either start over somewhere new or comply with ridiculous puritanical rules to maintain their current audiences. It’s pathetic and it’s not right and I take no comfort in my own content being safe when the content of artists is not.
